Spring is in full swing at the Community Garden, with daffodils and early blooms already bringing the plots to life. Some of our gardeners have already begun tending their spaces, and you can see them working in the garden from time to time.
Some garden plots are still available for the 2026 season – now is a great time to get involved and start planting. For details and to download the registration form, please see our previous post.

Join our 2026 Community Garden!
Our community garden is now open for 2026 registration, and we would love for you to be part of it. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and be part of a shared community space. Residents (both owners and tenants) are welcome to apply for a garden spot. To participate, simply download the application form below and submit it to the Office.
There is an annual fee of $10 per plot and a refundable deposit of $10 to ensure end-of-season cleanup.
Happy gardening – and we can’t wait to see what you grow!

The central disposal area for Christmas trees is indicated with an “X” and a red arrow on the site plan below. It’s the right-hand side of the access road to the maintenance area.
TREES SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THIS AREA BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S DAY.
When discarding your tree, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not drag it over the stairways and through the halls. Cleaning the building common areas already provides our housekeepers with sufficient challenge – they do not need the additional burden of pine needles and tinsel!
2nd/3rd floor units: REMOVE TREE THROUGH SLIDER, DROP CAREFULLY OFF DECK AND TAKE TO DISPOSAL AREA.
1st floor units: BREAK UP TREE/BRANCHES, PLACE IN TRASH BAG(S) AND TAKE TO DISPOSAL AREA.
If you cannot get your tree to the central location, it should be taken to the dumpster nearest your building, and PLACED BESIDE it, NOT INSIDE it.
Please not: Violations will be issued for discarded trees left on decks after New Year’s Day.
Thank you for your cooperation!

It’s the day after our first significant snowfall (about 5” perhaps?) this season and the roads in our community are already mostly cleared.
Always nice to see things bounce back so fast!

Today we picked up a fresh layer of snow that brightened the community and gave the grounds a white wintery look. The evening stroll through it all had a nice, quiet feel to it.
