The Community Garden hosted a visit to the Wagon Hill Farm this week. The 139-acre historic and conservation property in nearby Durham, New Hampshire features trails, meadows, an orchard, wildlife education and protection and a model community garden. Master gardeners founded the garden, which is open to the public 7 days a week.
The field trip offered residents a chance to connect, network, and learn about best practices for running an organic community garden that benefits both individual gardeners and the public.
This special event took place as part of the 2026 programming.
The Gardening 101 Social runs every 2nd and 4th Wednesday, June through September, from 6:30 to 7pm and is open to all residents.
