After the Community Meeting, some Board Members conducted a property walkthrough with Property Manager Ron.
During the tour, they visited the sewage pump house, one of the boiler rooms that supports our hot water heating system, the tool shed housing maintenance equipment, and the pool pump and filter system.
The group also took time to review the progress made by Chasco on the ongoing balcony and corner board reconstruction project. They also stopped at the playground to discuss the plans to rebuilt it after parts were removed earlier this year.
It was a productive visit and part of the Board’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving our property.

Photo 1 – typical boiler room for hot-water heat (each block of 3 buildings has one such boiler room)
Photo 2 – the colossal pumps to pump our sewage to the city sewer connection by Lafayette Rd. These two pumps serve our community as well as our neighbors at Springbrook. We own, operate and maintain the pumps but Springbrook shares the cost with us.
Photo 3 – the standby generator for the pumps, in case electricity goes out. It is periodically exercised, so you may hear it running occasionally.
